I am an Ottawa Artist who makes 'Robotic Art' out of recycling/re-using techno-junk - and also restores Antique technology to modern times. (example: 1940's philco radios that also play MP3's, or turntables that spin CDs)
I am presently looking for the following items in BROKEN or WORKING condition:
- Typewriters
- Mini stereo systems, ghetto-blasters, CD players, speakers
- Old film projectors, slide projectors
- Film or video cameras, lenses
- Laptops
- Pre-1960 radios, turntables, sewing machines, other old appliances
If you or your parents have any of these items kicking around - PLEASE don't throw them in the garbage! Just call or email me, and I will come pick the items up within 48 hours (or at your convenience).
* ALSO - I don't mind paying a few bucks for some items, but would truly appreciate donations. Please keep in mind that I'll take permanently broken items, as well as semi-functional, or unknown condition.
